Mix these ingredients and form into meatballs:
- 1 ½ pounds of lean ground beef or ground turkey
- ½ Cup Water Chestnuts, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- Brown meatballs in a skillet
- Put into a crockpot with 2 medium onions cut into wedges
Mix together:
- 1 bottle of Your Favorite Beer
- 1 ½ Cups of Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 ½ Tablespoons Flour
- ½ Teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- Pour this mixture over the meatballs into the crockpot.
- Cook 6-8 hours depending on how large or small you make your meatballs.
- If you are short on time or don’t have a crockpot – put the browned meatballs into a 1 ½ quart baking dish. Pour your sauce mixture over and cook at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.
